IRON JACK - EARN YOUR SEAT
For the launch of Lion Nathen’s newest beer Iron Jack, we airlifted a bar to the top of an escarpment in a remote outcrop of Northern Territory. Then we assembled a group of 4 blokes and challenged them to earn their seat – dropping them off 1200KM away with nothing but a set of coordinates to guide them there.
What started out life as a series 5 of online films quickly grew to what it is now. By the end of the production we produced the 5 films plus, 4 individual 15 second TV commercials, A 30 second TVC, a 60 online film, and around 20 social films raging in size from 16x9 to 9x16 and everything in-between. We decide the best approach would be to live the adventure with the boys and approach the filmmaking from a documentary style taking only a small crew. This was an approach that the client loved as they wanted a raw unpolished look for their new beer brand, a look that their target market could relate to.
