Will is a freelance director working in and around the commercial world for two decades, beginning his career behind the editing desk he honed his storytelling skills from the safety of the edit suite. Wanting more control over the whole story he ventured into production which quickly became his true passion and transitioned into directing full time. Will has been part of the production process throughout his entire career and having experience working both in production and in-house at advertising agencies, Will has a thorough understanding and appreciation of the pressure everyone is under to deliver the best possible version of any given idea. Will prides himself on his collaborative approach during production, understanding that it is a vast process involving many parties and he works cohesively with everyone involved to ensure the objectives are met.
Refusing to be pigeonholed into any specific genre or discipline, Will’s directing style focuses on performance, characters and creating a visual story that aligns with the overall concept whether that is for drama, comedy, fashion, documentary or lifestyle. This approach has helped Will work with a vast array of clients, from fast cars to fried chicken and everything in between.
